  • Well, I’m not a big flag waver, but I do have a lot of respect for my country. We have our problems just like everybody else, but we do stand for freedom. Freedom to express ourselves without worrying about reprisals. Which it what I’m doing here. I know a lot of you are not from the US and that’s fine. A lot of your ancestors migrated here over the past 200 years or so and that’s what makes this a great country – the diversity. I salute our soldiers who are defending freedom, as well as our allies who partner with them. May the Lord keep them from harm’s way. And may He continue to bless this great country – the USA. This is an image of Courthouse Rock in Sedona Arizona. I took the image of the flag on a recent trip to California. Using a Photoshop technique called Displacement Mapping I branded the US flag to the rock. / / Hope you like! Add me to your watch list now / My Bubblesite

  • Monsoon just minutes after passing by and heading up into Oak Creek Canyon, Sedona, Arizona! This storm was producing marble size hail with strong wind and rain. It was very dark and I thought the storm would not let up until after sundown. I was surprised by how fast the storm passed & just as the sun was setting. I did have my camera out trying to capture lightning but visibility was horrible so I had already put the camera/tripod away. I was totally taken off guard by this beautiful sight from my balcony and was unable to set the camera back up in time to capture the rainbows at their brightest! However, I’m very pleased with this shot…it is my personal favorite-to-date! It is so ironic that all the hiking and driving I do to different locations, I captured this one on the balcony of my apartment. • In late afternoon, a strong reflection can be seen in the water along Oak Creek Canyon at Cathedral Rock in Sedona, Arizona. Cathedral Rock is located at Red Rock Crossing and is topped by twin spires and a large saddle. This is one of several areas in Sedona referred to as a vortex.

  • This is a compilation of th sky and the tree with foreground. I added the rainbow using Russel’s Rainbow gradient brush in Photoshop. I tried to make it all look real.
