  • The Secret to Happiness
    by Krystle

What do you do when you work out that life, the world and everything you have done or ever will do is pointless?

  • Secret Place
    by Martin Derksema

But, when the wind starts howling, / and the moon projects a shadow play

A couple of weeks ago Deborah Parkin: asked me if I wanted to collaborate on a competition on the theme Secret Place. This competition is an initiative from WitheringMoon I felt honoured Deborah asked me, because I am a great admirer of her work and her pure and mind-enhancing vision on childhood and life in general. As soon Deborah showed me the image she had in mind, the words started flowing. I want to thank Deborah for the pleasure of working together and for being such an inspiration. You will find our complete project here Also, I want to thank Mawaho for proof reading and her valuable comments.

  • Suicide Note

Before the suicide note there was a Suicide Pact but I got left behind I cannot go into the details which surround this suicide but I feel that I should add this, as I don’t want to cause upset to anyone. Suicide Pact and Suicide Note relate to myself and another person 12 years ago. / My whole life was turned upside down by his death. I was left with so much mess that everything I had worked for; self-respect, respect of others, position and financial security all came crashing down around me – I ended up with nothing! It is for that reason that I refer to him as a coward. Also, I am writing about my feelings at the time that it happened and it is not unknown to be angry with the person for leaving you behind. I will never know if it was brave to stay or brave to die, as I had a child to stay for. These were not easy for me to write because it is not easy to admit that you had considered taking your own life. Featured by Anger Management – 13 Jul 2009 / MCN: C7815-C1725-9F014

just me wondering what constitutes the softness of one’s lips. What makes another’s lips not as soft? It’s more than the texture, i think, but an essence perhaps. After the recurring line from different men about the softness of my lips; my kiss, it got me to pondering the question…why?
