  • Tomahawk Reflecting
    by Damien Taylor

    US$4.99–US$114.00

Best viewed when ENLARGED. This is Tomahawk from Scarborough Yacht Club, North Yorkshire, England. This was shot on a very mild December afternoon in December 2007 in South Bay, Scarborough on the North Sea during a yacht race. What I like about the photograph is the way the movement of the sea bends the reflection of the sail :-)

  • Rock In The Water
    by Alvin-San [vcr]

    US$4.16–US$95.00

Eye love this shot for many reasons, not the least of which is the soaring effect this perspective offers the viewer; Eye felt as if Eye were flying when standing over this Vista —and Eye WOULD have been flying, if I had slipped from the skimpy toehold Eye had, whilst capturing this image! The Rock in the Shot is the size of a small apartment building ...

    by charlespeckcom

    US$6.65–US$152.00

it isn’t always this fine or gaudy a show, why sometimes it is subtle and subversively sensuous languidly laying one back to enjoy the universe’s pulse. / Hey, somebody got to do it or nobody will have any dreams worth chasing.

And the seawater, salty and splashing, / stretching sand and muddy mangrove soil to the sea / sounds like a sensual surrender of souls

  • “CONTRASTING PERCEPTIONS” Group- April 2009 This is my REAL HAPPY HEAVEN! The City where I live, in Italy, is placed 6 Km far from the seaside. So, when I need a time off , I run over there, sometimes by bicycle… I love this place and I go there just to have a stroll on the shore, to relax, to breathe some fresh air, in every season… SOME NEWS ON LATINA Latina is the capital of the province of Latina in the Lazio region, in central Italy. The city has about 115.426 inhabitants and is thus the second largest city of the region. It was founded in 1932 under the name Littoria when the area surrounding it, which had been a swamp since Antiquity, was drained. / Latina was founded on June 30, 1932, with the Fascist name of Littoria. The city was inaugurated on December 18 of the same year. Littoria was populated with settlers coming mainly from Friuli and Veneto, who formed the so-called Venetian-Pontine community (today surviving only in some peripherical boroughs). The edifices and the monuments, mainly in neo-classical style, were designed by famous architects and artists such as Marcello Piacentini, Angiolo Mazzoni and Duilio Cambellotti. / In 1934 it became a provincial capital and, after World War II, renamed Latina in 1946. With the arrival of other people mostly from Lazio itself, the original Venetian-like dialect was increasingly substituted by a form of Romanesco dialect. / Latina is located in the Province of Latina, part of the southern sectin of the region of Lazio. The city is about 62 km (39 mi) south of Rome. The city has some pharmaceutical, chemical industry, cheese production and has a strong service sector. Latina is also an important centre for agriculture (watermelons, vegetables, flowers, sugar, fruit, cheese and derivates). / The former Latina nuclear power plant is now shutdown and undergoing decommissioning The shot could probably give the sense of a loneliness but I love this sort of solitude:it makes me feel the owner of the whole place, the Queen of the space….It gives me the sense of stillness. It gives me the peace of mind, and and makes me feel more in touch with the wild Nature… I decided to edit this shot with “Watercolor Treatment” just to give a sort of magic glow…a magic idea of this place…Just to let people feel the same mood as I’m used to, when I go there… Taken with CYBER SHOT 5.1 Compact Camera – SONY Watercolor treatment View larger : it’s worth it!

  • plastic cup looks so natural in reflecting water yet is so un-natural and very man made
