Although they (the City of Sydney) do a great job every year, I think putting a large beating heart on the bridge was one of their best ideas to date. That, and ‘Eternity’. I also like how, if you look along the left of the top of the arch, you can just see the tiny little bridgeclimbers going about their touristy business. Expensive (and you can’t take a camera), but a pretty cool thing to do.

I am designing 12 images based around the months of the year and the old Celtic luna months. They will reflect the changing of the seasons and the ever turning wheel of the year, the magic and mystery attatched to each part of the cycle and any special festivals falling in those months. I did promise to make it up to the kids next year!

A New Years Sunrise While not a sunrise in the traditional sense of the word, but it sure seemed to be with the sun hiding behind the clouds, back lighting and glowing everything around me in a colorful haze in Moraine Park inside Rocky Mountain National Park. It was nothing but stunning! Quite the way to start and kick off the New Years I think! Processed in Photomatix HDR with 3 RAW files, then output through PSP 10, , shot on my 5D and Minolta 18-200 DT using a Singh-Ray CPL, and then hiding behind the car to shield myself from 80 MPH wind gusts lol The crazy thing is, the haze in the background, is actually from the snow that was falling and whipping around.
