As the water passes by me so does the Autumn season. By the time I am able to return to this spot the colors will have mostly been blown unto the winds. Seasons pass so quickly, much as our lives if we live for today and not for eternity. I am honored to have to selected as members all time favorite by Global Photo’s.”All his work is outstanding and showcases the very best nature has to offer. Was very hard to select just one. Have chosen this one because it is simply stunning. Gorgeous colours, lush greens and perfect exposure :))” http://www.redbubble.com/people/globalphotos

The Aos Sidhe (pronounced “ess shee”), are a powerful, supernatural race comparable to the fairies or elves of other traditions. / They live in an invisible world that coexists with the world of humans. / The Gaelic Otherworld is seen as being closer at the times of dusk and dawn, therefore this is seen as a time special to the Aos Sidhe, as are some of the festivals such as Samhain and Midsummer. The Aos Sidhe are generally described as stunningly beautiful, though they can also be terrible and hideous. I cursed myself for walking too deep into the forest and missing seeing the sunset from the view point high on the hillside like i intended, but the evening rays brought colour to the forest like I wouldnt have imagined. / The forest is very much still in green, but the backlighting from the sunset has given such warmth to the leaves. As it was so late in the day, this is a 1 second exposure. other photos from the forests around my home / / Loki’s Forest
AS IS Canon PowerShot S3 IS 6mp “Autumn Drive on the Pig Trail” U.S. Arkansas State Highway 23 S. Better known as the Pig Trail Bypass. I love to shoot fall colors right after the rain; the moisture saturates the colors, and makes them POP. /

The beauty of color in Autumn Autumn marks the transition from summer into winter, around late September in the United Kingdom. Night becomes visually noticeably ,the cold felt with a strong need not be alone. The leaves fall of the tree and leave them bare and alone This is part of my autumn theme. / Location: Warwick Park area of Tunbridge Wells – Kent UK

The iconic Liathach rises above Loch Clair, on a beautiful Winter’s day. / Not a perfect reflection, but still a wonderful scene. The dead tree has stood there for as long as I remember, in just the right place for a great composition. / Liathach is one of the Torridon Hills, in the North West of Scotland. Shot on my Canon EOS 40D, tripod, polariser, f19, 1/20sec, iso 100, auto wb, single RAW file pseudo HDR in Photomatix, tweaked in PS CS3, and a final layer of Orton, reducing the opacity, to make the colours ‘pop’.
