  • Two artists sit on a rocky outcrop waiting for the world, earth, universe to do it’s thing. Magic. Bruny Island, Southern Tasmania, Australia

  • Taken at Weymouth, Dorset in Spring 2007 / Photographer: GlennB / Glenn Bauer of Wiltshire, England A large number of these had been released from their pen by activists under cover of darkness the night before. I found this one a little apart from the heard just chilling in the gentle Atlantic waves off Southern England’s coast.

  • Lights Beach, Denmark, Western Australia My big sis loves chocolate and nature…probably in that order. So it kind of makes sense that she sees this image as nature’s version of a Ferrero Rocher chocolate!! Thank you Rosey Pose for seeing a little chocolate pleasure in everything! Big thanks too to my twin sis Beth, who I spent many happy hours with roaming the beaches and forests of Denmark recently. Here’s to nature, laughter, wine, chocolate and picnics…yeah, probably in that order. • Oils on canvas (50×70 cm) I had lots of fun painting this scene of three brothers hard at work on the beach… One little fellow is trying hard to remove clay and sand from the hole they dug but ends up dropping half his spadeful back into the water… Another little brother huffs and puffs his way up to the pool but his bucket is always half full by the time he reaches it… And the oldest brother… well, judging from the grin, he must be the ‘supervisor’... This painting was done at request from Lisa Wilson and the three brothers are her little sons. I used different photographs and with different poses to make up a story for this painting!! I hope you like it Lisa!!

  • Portland Head Light at Sunset, / Beautiful colors, and the waves were crashing in, slowly in the distance the fog was rolling in, and you could hear the foghorns going off, and the clanging of the buoys. • Lights Beach, Denmark, WA I love this region – wild coastline and forest close by. This evening on Lights beach was awesome and we had the beach to ourselves. The light was so pretty and the air was filled with salty mist. For enquires about canvas prints, or photographic prints larger than Redbubble options, please contact me via bubblemail

  • Beside the Seaside is for the Create an exhibition poster for “Make up Your Mind” exhibition WITH MAKEUP AND OTHER STUFF which is now open for entries. Voting will start for this challenge in 6 days. I created this on a substrate of brown paper, the dresses are from corrugated cardboard, and i’ve used some gingham for ribbon and pockets…. the other things i used were black boot polish for the hair, blue hair gel for the sea, plus blue nail polish for the water, along with white lipstick…. pink lipstick for the cheeks rouge and a brown tinted lip gloss to draw the legs and shade the faces…i used an eleliner pencil to do the eyes and lips, i have also used photoshop and some foundation for the shadows under their feet :) We were asked to create a poster to advertise the upcoming Make Up Your Mind Exhibition in Sydney at the Manly Arts Festival which we hope to go in…that will be in September. / / it kinda looks cute in a frame, i couldn’t help myself….don’t expect any sales from it though, just for presentation purposes of course :) Looking for inspiration, then check out these fantastic artworks on youtube created with makeup products! / Lipstick Painting Gwen Stefani / Lipstick Painting Angeline Jolie

  • I decided to get up early and get to North Narrabeen Pool again. I photographed it a fortnight ago and there wasn’t much a sunrise so I hoped that the some little clouds that I spotted at 5am will provide enough colour for possibly beautiful sunrise. Wrong! This morning definitely wasn’t designed for a photography. When I arrived to my destination, which is by the way only 15 min from my work (and almost an hour from home), I was met by a gail wind from the see with a speed of probably around 40 km/h and gusts up to 60km/h or more! (I checked the web later) The pool looked like this. / It was high tide as well, the waves were crashing onto the pool and roared themselves across and over the sidewalk! At first I tried to hide myself and the camera from the wind behind that rock wall but there were not much of a view. So later I climbed up and perched myself on that cliff, almost away from the wind and with a high view on the pool, hoping that the wind will slow down, or I will see sun rising regardless of the wind. I battled the wind, and a sea spray, and took few shots. I noticed few locals coming for their usual morning swim. Today all but one turned away! Yes, today wasn’t very good for a photography. Nor for the Lee filters. Being large and rectangular they make very good flying objects! As a result I need to place a new order for a filter and process a number of photos. Thank you for looking! Canon 5D / Canon EF 24-105 F/4-5.6 IS USM lens / ISO: 50 / Speed: 55 sec / Aperture: f/8 / FL: 24 mm / WB: Auto / Focus: Manual / Filter: Hoya NDX400 North Narrabeen Pool in a low tide, and no wind /

  • The waves continue to pound in on Lights Beach as the sun slips away…..until tomorrow :)) Lights Beach, Denmark, Western Australia
