Elephant Rocks, William Bay National Park, Western Australia (near Denmark) This national park is one of my favourite places on Earth. I was lucky to visit recently with my sister, climbing around the rocks and beaches for hours. Only we had to share it with a few snakes that were making the most of the spring sunshine! Lights Beach, Denmark, Western Australia My big sis loves chocolate and nature…probably in that order. So it kind of makes sense that she sees this image as nature’s version of a Ferrero Rocher chocolate!! Thank you Rosey Pose for seeing a little chocolate pleasure in everything! Big thanks too to my twin sis Beth, who I spent many happy hours with roaming the beaches and forests of Denmark recently. Here’s to nature, laughter, wine, chocolate and picnics…yeah, probably in that order. The Beachport Jetty in the Limestone Coast, the second longest in South Australia. The jetty is currently closed for repairs with most of the upper structure being replaced. The railway tracks and handrails have been removed and I believe the rails will be back up in time or the Christmas Holiday rush when the towns population goes from 450 up to about 5,000!!!! A rare chance to get a shot like this before the repairs are finished. Three shot stitch in Photoshop CS3. Canon 400D 18/55 with CIR Polarising filter.
Digital emulation of an impressionist painting of a beach on the Central Coast of New South Wales.
Sometimes the best photos come without preparation, on the first tryout. Although a couple of descent ones followed, not one of them had impact of this kind. / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-——- / “Splash” is featured in the group – Natural color and light (08.03.2009) / “Splash” is featured in the group – You’re Accepted (15.06.2009) / “Splash” is featured in the group – Weekly Theme Challenges (23.06.2009) / “Splash” is featured in the top then of the Weekly Theme Challenges – Your Favorite Summer Scene

Takes in the Keys in Florida. Kit: Canon 400D & Tokina AF193 19-35mm
Located on Venice Beach, FL this beach did not have many sunbathers which made it easy to photograph. I loved the large clump of seagrass that was on the sand. 50 blades of seagrass blowing in the wind! Taken with a Canon XTI / f/8 / ISO-100 / 1/640 sec / 24mm
