I took this picture a couple of years ago at the beach of Marina di Grosseto, Tuscany, Italy. / This is a fine example I think of how a fisheye lens can completely change the feeling of an ordinary scene. The subject is simply some surf on the seashore, captured from a distance of not more than a foot. / The original picture is a Fuji Velvia 50 Iso medium format slide. Hope you enjoy it, thanks for dropping by. Paolo

  • Patience Within
    by Carolyn Staut

    US$35.62–US$190.00

This painting was created as a gift for my son Travis and his wife, Romey. Oh, I have so wanted to put this one up but had to wait until the original arrived at their home today…so I wouldn’t spoil the surprise. Romey is such a sweet and patient person with a wonderful sense of humor, and a calmness that many of us strive to achieve. We are so blessed to have her as our daughter-in-law. So, this is Romey watching the sunset on the beach and being ever so patient as I captured the image to paint. Thank you Romey! /

  • Seashore Sally
    by Karin Taylor

    US$4.70–US$125.40

My mate AffectMachine made a card/print in response to Seashore Sally entitled – She Being – Response to Sea Shore Sally Seashore Sally by Karin Taylor is a mixed media production on canvas textured paper (ink pastel acrylic charcoal) I drew/painted this a long time ago, it was the first time i applied a real face to a painting, ie real eyes instead of dots etc. and I wasn’t very happy or confident about doing it at the time, as I had done only dots for eyes, and the lady who purchased it asked me if i could apply a face for her…after i did it, she said it reminded her very much of her sister in law, luckily…she liked her sister in law! lol
