In honor of my Scandinavian heritage. Grandmother Anna was a proud Norwegian.transplant, and I am the daughter of a daughter of a seamstress. Grandmother Anna Lorraine Mortensen at the age of 19 came to America in the year 1900 from Norway via Ireland. She was an indentured servant for a number of unspoken years. She was a seamstress. Yes, I know how to sew a straight line. And have spent many fastidious hours for the sake of the ideal seam. Although I can not remember which magazine I found this image from, this color pencil drawing was inspired from a photo I found in a design periodical.
As the water rushes by, the shear face of the gorge looked like it had seams of gold and silver running through it. The central fragment made a good focal point but the image didn’t work until I used a square frame. Please check out Seams Of Gold & Silver – B&W Version

ZZ Top Many thanks to Tracey Mac for her skill with a camera and wonderful direction in making my dream come alive.
I experimented with one of the photos Tracey Mac took on Sunday (08.11.2009), trying out the use of textures. / / I haven’t done as good a job as Traey does and I’m not sure how much I like it but, I do kinda like it! / / Thanks for looking, I hope you like my experimentation – all criticisms are appreciated.
Another collaborqtion from the fabulous day I spent with the wonderful Tracey Mac. I love how Tracey has caught the light on the side of my guitar giving it a gorgeous rich look. Thanks for looking, I hope you enjoy it.
