Image of a male Australian Fur Seal(Arctocephalus pusillus),taken at Popes Eye Marine Park. There was a colony of seals in the area many very inquisitive, this big fella got closer than I would have liked a few times.I was fortunate to observe males play fighting & asserting there dominance by slapping there fins on the water & then attacking each other, dont know whether it was stupid to be in amongst it but it sure was one of those magical moments in diving. 100% of all sales of this image will be donated toSea Shepherd Seal Defence © Copyright M.Tworkowski

This is the first in my new series~ “Can I Live Here Too?” I have embarked on a journey to help the animals that have just as much of a right to live here as we do…..sad to say that baby seals like this are clubbed to death to be skinned, everyday at alarming numbers, these helpless innocent babies anywhere from 12 to 28 weeks are being murdered in terribly painful ways….I saw in a video called Earthlings, not only did they club the baby to death, they tossed its mangled body to the side where I watched the mother seal morning her baby, I felt her pain, you could see it in her eyes….she was so beside herself in the loss of her baby….I cant for the life of me understand this, I am crying at this very moment….its not fair…I cant sit here and not do anything any more…please help me teach people the importance of animals and their right to live….. / As with all in this series 50% of any and all proceeds go to the Defenders of Wildlife: in my attempt to help….please help open people’s eyes and show them how to love…. Another way to help and save, Wear your feelings for everyone to see with a T-shirt!

Juvenile Elephant Seals test each other strength by biting and pushing each other. In most cases it is a form of play which prepares them for real life when they will claim their own females. 50% of all proceeds from the sale of this image will be donated to the Marine Conservation Organization Consider my other images of Elephant Seals / /

This yearling sea lion still had the attention of mom when he came to shore. The care was evident as she nuzzled his face. The parents among us know that no matter how old they get, or how far away they move we never stop worrying, we never stop loving and we never stop caring! This image is dedicated to all the Moms out there who never stop caring. This image has been used a Mothers Day card and as a card for folks who have lost a pet. Thanks fot looking!

A juvenile male Elephant Seal is looking backwards at the photographer (me) Image was taken at San Semion California. This young male was a part of a group that had at least 500 Elephant Seals. The pacific coast is home for this wonderful mammals and San Semion has several locations where they are protected. This was taken away from the tourist location, and on a streach of the beach where no people can go. distance was about 5 feet away from the animal. 50% of all proceeds from the sale of this image will be donated to the Marine Conservation Organization Consider my other images of Elephant Seals /

Not too many folks now-a-days find the time to sit and actually take a pen to paper, and write a letter to a friend or a loved one… The computer age we live in just makes it so much more convenient to send someone an email, or a text message on our cell phone… but… I for one, like to try to make that time for the loved ones in my life… and I do truly enjoy writing letters… and receiving them too….
