  • «Grand-Anse New-Brunswick»
    by micmac

/ I’m always there / In the swirl of life / St-GraäL,why not / Uncontrolable but delighted Pictures,...

I’ve wrote this a day of great lonelyness.I was thinking of my acadian mother with whom I never had a good relationship.I went to GrandAnse several times before she died but never could go back after her death. Many friends overthere must wondering why I didn’t go back,I’m thinkink about them so often missing them so much , them and the salted wind of the sea.Frederique was my grand-father and Evangeline is an old story from a woman who had waited all her life to see his deported husband,a wonderful story that every acadian knows.Soon i will return to my ancesters because now I’m ready. It has been nine years. When I wrote this poem I took the «chiac» accent like la« sagouine » I wish some of the viewers knows that marvelous language because it adds an other dimension to this piece of writing….....
