3 baby turtles swimming around. Their world is limited to a 5 foot water tank… That leaves me thinking. Maybe is better that they be imprisoned rather than killed in the ocean. No way. There is nothing better than freedom. Taken in Xcaret, Mexico.

Key West, Florida / Sea Turtles (superfamily Chelonioidea) are turtles found in all the world’s oceans except the Arctic Ocean. There are seven living species of sea turtles: flatback, green sea turtle, Hawksbill, Kemp’s Ridley, Leatherback, Loggerhead and Olive Ridley. The East Pacific subpopulation of the green turtle was previously classified as a separate species, the black turtle, but DNA evidence indicates that it is not evolutionarily distinct from the green turtle.[1] All species except the leatherback are in the family Cheloniidae; the leatherback belongs to the family Dermochelyidae and is its only member

This is actually a copper sculpture…a table…....with reflections from the sky above adding to the ambience of it. / It was so perfectly made….each little detail just right. With coral and seaweed…..it rose out with only it’s head, foam, and bits of shell and front flippers above the table….the rest was under the glass. / A gorgeous peice…...found at our local RenFest held in BonnerSprings Kansas each Fall.
