Image of a male Australian Fur Seal(Arctocephalus pusillus),taken at Popes Eye Marine Park.There was a colony of seals in the area many very inquisitive,this big fella got closer than I would have liked a few times.I was fortunate to observe males play fighting & asserting there dominance by slapping there fins on the water & then attacking each other,dont know whether it was stupid to be in amongst it but it sure was one of those magical moments in diving. 100% of all sales of this image will be donated toSea Shepherd Seal Defence © Copyright M.Tworkowski

This yearling sea lion still had the attention of mom when he came to shore. The care was evident as she nuzzled his face. The parents among us know that no matter how old they get, or how far away they move we never stop worrying, we never stop loving and we never stop caring! This image is dedicated to all the Moms out there who never stop caring. This image has been used a Mothers Day card and as a card for folks who have lost a pet. Thanks fot looking!

A juvenile male Elephant Seal is looking backwards at the photographer (me) Image was taken at San Semion California. This young male was a part of a group that had at least 500 Elephant Seals. The pacific coast is home for this wonderful mammals and San Semion has several locations where they are protected. St Ives Cornwall. Waited for a boat rip to Seal Rocks to get some captures but storm clouds gathered – still we went – galeforce winds wild seas a distant vision of a seal uncaptured! EAGLE (for Lina) Majestically she soars and glides / aloft the airstream’s gentle wave, / and carried on its wide, deep current / her eagle eye observes / the smallest movements of hungry predators / that threaten harm or danger / to her own so far below. / She guards them all, those / small newborns within her nest, / nourishes these fledglings with what / she’s learned of survival, / of being eagle in the world, / of being one with all around them, / part of the cycle / of birth and life and death and life, / the interdependence of all things, / the give and take of growing wise and strong / and at peace within themselves. / With her spirit breath she seeds / the billowed clouds and in just this way / ensures that all below are showered / with her wisdom, with her love. / And still she soars.
