  • thought i’d bring some life to an old tattoo design i did for someone. / HE IS MADE OF COGS AND SCREWS AND WHAT NOT. i was a bit prejudice on the flathead type screw. / whatev, i dont like them.. they’re half of what the philips screw is, philips works harder for its dollar.

  • Ok , so this was just a stupid thought that popped into my head one night while making a long ( so very long ) drive ….. I thought it was a funny , lighter way of telling people what you thought ( less aggression , more humor :) ) Lol I did a few of these, but I guess we’ll see how the reponse to this goes , before I upload a bunch more :)

  • How many times have you looked at everyday objects and either failed to notice what went into its construction, or thought about it beyond its intended purpose? Capable of withstanding shear forces thousands of times its own mass, and finely crafted to fill a specific purpose – these screws made a nice image en masse.

  • 1st I need to give credit where credit is due, I saw the Simpson’s yesterday and it was the one where homer invents things, he went to the Thomas Edison museum and there in the gift shop was a tshirt with a light bulb saying ‘screw this’. So thats where the idea came from. I love homer! wahoo

She still gives the best hugs, hasn’t lost her sense of humor or independent streak, and can tear through the Haggadah in two or three languages (she was fluent in English, Russian, Polish, Hebrew, and Yiddish.) It’s difficult to work with images that aren’t good quality in the first place.. Experimenting with B&W and noise. / Self-portrait, because I DON’T LIKE THIS SIZE ZERO RUBBISH.
