A metaphorical representation of when one feels an attraction that they know is wrong, doomed, and futile, where the only certainty is that someone is going to get hurt, where the allure is so compelling that all sensible judgment is ignored… Pictured is a Naïve little bomb that has unexpectedly spotted a naked flame. It’s eyes are transfixed on the burning glow and the wick has begun to instinctively move towards it…....... What next??? Scotty (。◕‿‿◕。)
Who dosen`t love robots? / Even if they do go on the occasional destructo-beam rampage.. I`ve been dying to get back to fun stuff, and there`s nothing more fun than getting messy with a little robot destruction.. Pencil, Illustrator, spray paint & a stick.
HumpChi DumpChi, Shat on the floor, humpChi HumpChi, Hump that shoe More. Long day.
Geisha Listening to her ipod
This is a tribute of sorts, although she`ll never see it. / No meaning, no message, just thoughts… Line art only because I think it suits, and colour would give it too defined an edge for a t-shirt. Hope you enjoy.. Pencil & paper, Photoshop and a bunch of hours. Print variation here
my love of surfing founds it way into a design, if only I could surf waves this big!
I love mocha and it inspired this design this morning. UPDATE (4 October 2007) This has been updated so make the most of the new shirt colours.
Ever wondered what gives lemonade its bubbles?
This price of ink is a crime and when you open up your printer to find out who the culprit is for the strange coloured document or whinging printer utility your always looking at the four usual suspects, C, M, Y & K (aka black). In this design i have tried to give each of them a bit of character like the Usual Suspects movie cover. I’d like to acknowledge Big Fat Robot and his Tshirt design R,G and B. which is one of my favorite T’s and one of the inspirations for this T. So who do you suspect? /
This is more evil than cute, fork off was what someone wrote on this image when I had on it my wall during a party at my house. the name was perfect.
AudioHive / For the sound competition.. Printed sample of AudioHive natural shown here, thanks to Ruby red: / I sat and thought about sound, what it is, what it means. Our attraction to sound is primal, as universal as the world itself. / It has structure and body, with no definable form. It can be all things, / natural, mechanical & electric. Sound brings us together, forms and strengthens communities. So this design is a visual representation of those thoughts.. I hope you enjoy it. Details can be seen: / here / and here NOTE: I`ve uploaded 2 different colourways for this design, which I normally wouldn`t do, but both speak / of something to do with my concept. Let me know which you think is the better entry? And if you like it enough please throw a vote my way
Brit is another addition to the mikoto dog family. it was requested by Big Fat Robot and is a tribute to my friend matthew’s old bulldog Rumpole. They are not the most energetic dogs as you can tell by Brit’s interest in the tennis ball. This is the drawing it is based on. I’m always surprised by how much i like my tiny tiny drawings! / Scotty (。◕‿‿◕。)

Taken on a very cold day at White Point Beach, Nova Scotia Canada. My then Fiancee now wife wrote this in the wet sand, and I took the shot. I thought this might make a nice Valentine’s Day card. This image has taken on new meaning for me now. My Mother had been in the hospital for a little over a week. We knew she was on her deathbed. She had suffered for many years with a number of serious chronic health issues, the most debilitating being COPD – a chronic lung disease which had her housebound and connected to oxygen 24-7. Well this morning (Feb. 15, 2009) she passed away peacefully. The reason this image is special to me now is that it was featured on the Homepage here on RedBubble just hours before she passed away. In my heart I feel that she had something to do with it. This was her way of telling me she loves me for one last time since this image prominently features the words “I LOVE YOU” in the sand. God Bless you, Mum! / / / /

This photo of a silhouetted cross against a beautiful sunset was taken in Windsor, Nova Scotia, Canada right across the street from my house. My then girlfriend, now wife pointed out the cross, so I got down to ground level and took the shot. I was using a Canon PowerShot A640 camera at the time. / This was the very first image that I added to RedBubble and it has been my most popular image for views, comments, and favoritings to date. / ______________ / Check out more of my art from these categories: / Holiday Cards / Abstracts / Sketches / Birds / Seascapes/Landscapes/Sunsets / / / ______________ /
