In Scotland we call them coos. / I always think of something like this when I hear it on the news.
This t-shirt pays homage to the great Scottish revolutionary socialist John Maclean (1879 – 1923). The design on the tee features my interpretation of an image from a Russian stamp commemorating the great man. Born in Pollokshaws, Glasgow, the former schoolteacher fought long and hard for the rights of the common man, ending up in prison for his beliefs. He was elected to the chair of the Third All-Russian Congress of Soviets in 1918 when he was made Bolshevik consul in Scotland. He founded the Scottish Workers Republican Party and supported Scottish independence. His health was broken in prison and he died aged 44. Loved by the people, over 20,000 lined the streets at his funeral.

Hologram Tam better known as Thomas Mc Anea was trying a little quantative easing of his own but sadly his assistance with the current financial crisis wasn’t appreciated. Tam & his associates have been sent to prison for forging UK banknotes. / Tam’s artistic talents have got him six years in prison. / I had an idea that Hologram Tam sounded a bit like Telegram Sam so re-worked my original idea to incorporate a Marc Bolan T.REX EMI style version. / More Info can be found here / This isn’t a tribute its satire!!
Fun t-shirt with a skull and crossbones design featuring the Royal Stewart tartan pattern.
A crescent moon with decorative knots inlayed, and a medieval fantasy sword in front intertwined in intricate knotwork. An exploration of Scottish heritage, its myths, and its lore.
