  • Another silly one. I had to wonder if the space missions to our moon missed something. They must have doubts because they’re planning on going back to find out. Somehow I don’t think they will find these two lifeforms. Acrylic.

  • The tropical winds caress the mind of fantasy, float away in a world of peace and serenity while entering into a dimension of wonders that have no limit to possibilities.

  • Cosmic shindig in the sky / Square dance held for the stars / Those that attend let heels fly / Try not to trip on Mars / / Polaris Reel, their favorite dance / Stars spin to show their grace / All night long the stars do prance / Through interstellar space / / This fractal artwork was inspired by a remembrance of my elementary school days years ago. Every Friday afternoon the school classes would gather in the school auditorium to learn a new square dance. This brought to my mind how the stars are always in a cosmic dance of their own. So here you have both of those thoughts combined to create a stellar square dance. I know… weird how the mind works sometimes! / / The original is 4800×6000 pixels at 300 pixels per inch. It was created in Apophysis using a new script I wrote myself. Because the original is so large and difficult to see over the internet, I have included a couple of detail cutaways below. / / / / / /

  • Science museum nocturne, Ciutad de las artes, Valencia (Spain)

  • There is talk of within the decade we will have men walking the surface of Mars. I wonder on the prudence of the capital expenditures necessary to finance such an endeavor when as a world we are insufficiently addressing the basic needs of its people. Furthermore should we be focusing our attention on the stars when there is so much we do not understand about our own planet and the mysteries just beneath the surface of our oceans. Just a thought…. We are making some fantastic advances in wave pump generators producing electrical power from the simple action of the waves. That is the advancements that most excite me, the utilizing of the abundance available right here on our planet in green healthy technologies that will benefit mankind for generations to come! Then we can expand past the moons rings.

  • Return now from place far away / To judge Earth on this judgement day / Decide what comes and what will stay / Which things to their home they’ll convey / / Decide they will with pure thought / On all things that this Earth has wrought / To separate what’s good or not / Judgments that can’t be swayed nor bought / / Things deemed unworthy or unsound / Will be left just as they are found / To vanish in act so profound / Where all that’s left will not rebound / / This fractal artwork was inspired by the prophesies of Judgement Day. This is one of the prophesies that exists in almost all religions of the world. Similar versions of Judgement Day are found in Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. The only exception I am aware of to the prophesy of judgement day is in Hinduism, as in Hinduism Satan doesn’t exist. / / I am a spiritual person, but not a religious person, which is most frequently termed as an Agnostic. I believe that there is something far greater than all of us in this universe, for we exist, but keep an open and questioning mind as to just what that might be. In this artwork I represent one of those alternative views of Judgement Day, where our ‘creator’ returns to salvage what good has come from our world (and not just from an arrogant human civilization), to save it before our world ends by taking these positive attributes back with them from where they came. / / Granted, as an agnostic, I think there is a good possibility as well that there will be no judgement day at all. The prophesy of judgement day may have come about through humankinds everlasting quest for immortality, and the need to believe that humankind will continue on forever. Only time itself will tell the truth about judgement day. / / This was artwork created in Incendia. The fractal is exactly as it was rendered. The background image of Earth used with Incendia is from a well-known public domain image from NASA. The only post-processing was to crop it just a hair to bring it to a more common printing size. The original artwork is 3600×3600 pixels at 300 pixels per inch. The details are difficult to see over the internet, so I have included a few detail cutaways to give you a better idea of the overall detail of the artwork. The cutaways are at 100% of the original size. / / / / / / / /

  • The last time I saw Kaldads Maw , (as the only surviving being I also got to name it) it was spewing hot flames and lava as it rose from the depths where it was born.At the time I thought it looked like a Great Kalad looking to the heavens and spewing its anger from its mouth. My though hasn’t changed down the years. / But that was 978 years in the past, since then the sea mount as settled down somewhat, and it now as a small number of inhabitants. / Recently there have been some tremors reported, so maybe some activity is starting. / Maybe it as decided to go back into the womb, or maybe its calling a sister from the depths.Since I saw its birth so many years ago, I have become the foremost authority on the sea mounts and volcano’s of Galits Pride. Still when the last time the planet Marsa was this close, was that same volcanic birth that I witnessed in my youth.

  • On this tor a Celtic Church stood in the 2nd century, but after the assimilation in the 12th century the church fell into ruin and the stone from its walls fell back into the tor from whence it rose. The only indication of its passing today is a crumbling Celtic Cross on the summit. Legends say that on the summer equinox the old Celtic gods make storm clouds gather, the storm lasts most of the day and night with much thunder & lightening.

  • Beyond the ringed giant the worlds of the void beckon.

  • What do you see when you look within? I am not talking a distorted perception of what we try to project to others, instead, what is at the core of our being? It is said that before we can begin to move forward in our lives and achieve our true potentials, we need to face that what terrifies us the most…our true self. Once we can face that which is the worst in us, we can confront it and start making real changes in our lives. For the fastest way to make a positive change in our lives is to change the only thing we really have control of ourselves, then the world begins to change around us. For things to change in your life you have to be willing to change yourself first!

  • Far across the Sibeen Desert lies Desolation Peak, so called for the number of climbers who have perished trying to reach her summit. / So far non have made it, the first to reach the top will claim many prizes and honors. / All the major corporations galaxy wide have put up millions of creds. Its really the only attraction on Garantiss Prime, but to this being, its the view!.

  • On “Gabross Zinda” the mono-track runs in a straight line around the whole planet. / Because when settled it was decided not to “clutter” the landscape with raillines, roads and highways. / So all the major cities are built on the meridian, and from there, one takes a hovercraft to whatever settlement they need to reach. It is called the “Red Line” after the deep vermillion pigment that is just below the surface, it is mercury sulfide (cinnabar). / After a time all things here turn red. This also happens to be the major trading commodity on this world in the Dune System. This was the introduction for the 2567 AA vid/movie ” Way Beyond Dune”

  • This year the meeting of the rulers of the worlds of the Amalgamated Galaxies takes place in the city of Setpoint on Andross Minor in the Primm Nebula. Security is top level, in fact all citizens have been told to stay inside while the delegates arrive. I am one of the lucky few journalist/photographers to get a pass. In this photo we view the arrival of the Stillarian Emperor in his Vixen Class Star-Rover “Freedom”. All ships have an escort supplied by the host planet. • The burning planet Hellsfire in the Siloss system, produces so much heat from its core, that the fire escapes into space and as created a nebula which surrounds this burning world. Featured in You’re Accepted

  • Just another day on the river.

  • Part of my “Dreamtime”

  • The planet Eleganz, named by expedition leader Captain Krause, is a beautiful striated world covered with colorful plant life similar to corals and lichens that grow in fantastic colonies at the base of the strange thin curved ridges that soar vertically thousands of meters high. The atmosphere is mostly Earth normal, if not a little oxygen-rich, and somewhat lighter in gravity. Most of the planet’s water is below ground, the weather so far has been mild, even the storms, which have been described as “soft tornadoes”. • February 2009 One of my favorites. =) Canon 5D Mark II

  • This cosy little scene came from a recent transmission. We have no idea as to its location or origin. Or when this visual was taken. Or even if it is genuine. / Would appreciate it if anybody can verify its authenticity. / Created in Artmatic Voyager (planetscape), Bryce 6/DAZ (the moons, the spacecraft, the towers and the foreground rock formation), and Photoshop for the wisp of cloud, stars and galaxy. Assembled in Photoshop CS2. / Criticism welcome as always.
