  • the team of scientists frantically search for the remains of the ufo, which was seen striking the water in a fairly shallow ocean trench.

  • The plan worked to perfection, “Bree”hemoth, unleashed his pneumatically assisted whipper arm and plucked Zola from the air. The shock on Zola’s body was immense, his eyes bulged and his sausage roll super thrusters, deprived of much needed airflow, whined in protest. He was fast losing consciousness. The red world blurred and greyed at the edges and all sound receded in a rapidly closing mental fog. The “Bree”hemoth opened its jaws in delight and cast victorious glance down at Zola, no more would these free flyer, cliff-dwellers, disrupt operations at the hill. His last thought was a brief concern as to the whereabouts of Zola’s partner, Gorgon. The distraction had worked, The excitement registered by the Breehemoth, had momentarily diverted power from its dome shield and Gorgon punched through the soft tissue, his internal processors and deft pink fingers worked at light speed, to sever and remove the “Bree”hemoth’s core controller –its brain. Zola dropped from lifeless fingers, his motors roared into life on auto pilot and took him up to a safe altitude, where he came round to see Gorgon next to him. Gorgon and Zola roared off into the red sky with cheesy grins plastered over their faces.

  • I don’t use acrylic very much, mainly when I’m using an airbrush. I felt the urge to do another space scene and just had to get it out of the system. I shall now calm down and go back to landscapes, portraits and cartoons. If those life-forms are welcoming humans to their planet, I wonder if they know what they’re letting themsleves in for…apart from the common cold! acrylic and board.

  • Dangerous Days was the original name of the screenplay and film, Blade Runner. An interpretation of the city view, especially with the opening sequence in mind. On a similar theme: Dangerous Days: and Nexus 6

  • So here am I quite by chance near the phone / I could call and make you crawl into bed / Questions always questions / I’ll just speak in slow motion, / About obsessions with boys on the floor. Take that smile off your face, / Wipe that tear from your eye, / Don’t say you’re sorry for me. Now look at me like a stormtrooper in drag / And I’ll let you feel exactly like I do, / It’s so disgusting I’m so tired of rhythm / And needles in arms, / I don’t want your point of view. Nothing to do, / Nothing to steal, / And there’s nothing to say. Love it love it I need to.

  • I was out with one of my students the other night. We were on our way to the top of the NS Building and found this view from the 13th Floor. The borders top and bottom are actually the window-surrounds. I shot this at about f/7.1 for 2seconds, lens-hood removed, lens flat against the window with my weight pushing against it to brace it still. No tripod? Just improvise! Nikon D300 / Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8
