  • My eldest son, lost in one of his fantasy novels…......

  • Where a lot of construction is taking place in East London, South Africa. I drive past this every morning I take the children to school, and with winter now just started, the light behind has been getting more and more delightful at this time of the morning. I had no idea that I would be so intrigued by metal monsters, when I am a nature-loving person. But here we go – I had to take a photo.

  • New note 13 October 2009: Got back a few minutes ago from a prize giving for a local photography competition for photos representing “life is always a pleasure in Buffalo City” as I was one of the 13 finalists out of nearly 200 entries – and they chose me as the overall winner! I received a new camera and a R1000 shopping voucher! My boys, then 9 and 10, enjoying a warm evening at the beach in mid autumn, East London, South Africa, 2008, at Gonubie river mouth

  • Gonubie River, East London, South Africa, at sunset

  • A friend’s gorgeous cat

  • Bonza Bay beach, East London, Eastern Cape, South Africa / I sold this image middle of July this year. Well, a stock library I had almost forgotten about sold it for R300, I got R240! Not via a person viewing the stock library, and buying from there (I would have gotten less), but because East London (also known as Buffalo City) was looking for images for a “focus on Buffalo City” publication, and approached the stock library owner, who chose a few images from different people. / I was, and still am, really really pleased!

  • A self portrait of sorts…but only of my feet!

  • Taken in NW Ohio, on a foggy morning. Featured In / Ohio Photographers Group

  • Featured In / Color me a Rainbow

  • Featured In / Ohio Photographers Group

  • I love when bats wrap their wings around like this. They look so cozy and cuddly. I know a lot of people disagree with me…but I really think bats are some of the cutest animals. This adorable little guy lives at the Cleveland Zoo. Featured In / All Soft and Cuddlies

  • This is one of my personal favorites. Two of my own photographs (the bears are from the zoo, and the sunset was taken outside my home) layered in PhotoSuite III. Featured In / Who Are You To Judge? / All Soft and Cuddlies / Sleeping Creatures / All Original Fusion / The Scavenger Hunt / Image Writing

  • A more subtle use of rainbow lighting. No post editing. Featured In / Ohio Photographers Group / The Scavenger Hunt

  • Featured In / Animal Fantasy & Whimsey

  • Two of my photos blended with one of my own textures, and converted to warm/sepia tone. Both photos were taken in NW Ohio.

  • No mom, I didn’t eat all the bat wings, or the newt eyes. I have no idea where they went. But the cauldron is really clean now. See…I helped! Two of my photos blended and layered with one of my own photo textures. Featured In / All Original Blends

  • A blend of a photo I took of some items from my favorite stationary set with some dried flowers. I also added two of my own photo textures to give it a more aged feel.

  • I’m not really sure if he’s sleeping, or just ignoring me. It’s hard to tell with cats, wild or tame. Featured In / All Soft and Cuddlies

  • I’m so excited to have beautiful fall colors this year! For the past few years we’ve either had wind storms that stole all our leaves before the colors were ready, or everything just skipped right to brown. This photo was taken at Oak Opening Metropark in NW Ohio.

  • A combination of acrylic painting (the raven and branch), a photo of Edgar Allen Poe’s The Raven, and a couple of my photo textures. All converted to an antique lens effect to blend better. Hope you like it! Featured In / Halloween
