Summer is usually a slow season for photography (at least for me). I was just out driving around and stopped at my favorite pullout,when I saw this nice shot. I like to sit on the wall at this pullout and just enjoy being alive.

Glade Creek Mill located in the Babcock State Park at Clifftop, WV in Fayette County. Built in 1975, the mill was assembled using parts of three other West Virginia mills.

A red squirrel appears suddenly, skipping effortlessly across the overhead branches, teaching me that to be natural and spontaneous is the vital key, / as shards of golden sunshine fragmented diffusion on the leaves all around the brilliant phlox and foxgloves, provided a welcome spree to the eye. Just then a dog fox came prowling, sniffing assiduously the downwind breeze.
