Teaching Bandit and Ranger to “forage” for their food, I placed a pumpkin in their “raccoon run” and they have begun to reach in and scoop out the seeds and pumpkin “stuff”! By this coming Spring, hopefully I will have thought of enough things to teach them that they will be able to live in nature successfully.

The cat who was so elegant that everyone says hello with a smile and forgets all troubles for a moment
by Sebastiaan KoenenMade for my crazy old grandmas birthday this year. Didn’t want to give her anything ‘scary, dark or tragical’ so I tried to draw something with a purely positive atmosphere. I think I succeeded, although the cat does look a little evil at last… The text below (in dutch) says: ‘The cat who was so elegant that everyone says hello with a smile and forgets his troubles for a moment…’. Fineliner on Hahnemuhle Fineart Quattro paper, 11,8×11,8 inch. 80lbs. 0,05 & 0,3 pencil width.. about 8 by 8 inches in size. 2009.
