This is obviously not an original idea, and I want to thank both ECGardner and Angelique Brunas for their works along these lines that motivated me to explore my own creativity. I hope they do not mind my using their work as a basis for my inspiration, and I am still working to achieve the balance, beauty, and artistry they have exhibited through their respective nature based collages! I will give folks a while to guess what the various panes are comprised of, they should be pretty easy to figure out, later I will insert the proper descriptions of their contents. This is an infrared shot. It was a very overcast day – not much blue sky about at all so I tried something a little different with this one. / Hope you like it.

This image was captured at Marsaxlokk, a quaint little fishing village in Malta. The water was a little murky and kind of greasy, no doubt caused by the diesel from the boats. This has probably caused the paint-like effect that seems prelevant in this image. I tweaked the brightness and colour saturation in photoshop but otherwise this picture is pretty much as is! It was a sunny day and that helped the colours to come out nicely..

Melbourne Doors – These two doors are actually separate but lie within the same alley within the CBD. I combined the two to include as much graffiti encroachment as possible! Hope you guys like it!

An old 1930’s Mercedes Benz on exhibition at NGV (National Gallery of Victoria) in Melbourne. This car was a V8 had automatic transmission and went from 0 – 100kmph in only 16 seconds! haha how times change! Background desaturated in Photoshop and Gaussian Blur applied to background layer. A slightly different crop of one of Melbourne’s famous lanes that are covered in Graffiti, this one being Union Lane that runs off Little Collins St… Saw this drain pipe and couldn’t resist it so took a couple of photos and stitched them together, I really love the little character at the bottom left hand corner of the pic! Ok so everyone is probably sick of all my flood filter photos but I’m having way too much fun! This is my girlfriend’s kitten Jaguar, this shot was taken in her backyard in autumn and I thought it would make for a good subject for a flood filter. Also changed the hue and saturation of her eyes in Photoshop, other minor changes such as slight cropping done in Lightroom.

Emerald Paradise As Is… / Canon PowerShot S3 IS Rainbow Springs Florida’s third largest spring, Rainbow Springs pump 600 million gallons of water daily and serves as the head water to the pristine Rainbow River. The property was acquired by the State Park Service in 1990 and is slowly being allowed to revert to its natural state. / Beautiful floral gardens surround the spring, and the area is immensely popular in the spring when the azaleas are in bloom. The state also acquired Rainbow Springs State Campground, located nearby, which was formerly privately owned. From the campground, you can tube or canoe the crystalline waters of Rainbow River, or fish for large mouth bass and other freshwater species. / A nature trail provides a lovely walk past two waterfalls and the azalea gardens, and meanders along the Rainbow River. / /

This little gem can be found just around the corner from Loch Ard Gorge near Port Campbell off Victoria’s Great Ocean Road, Australia. I came here the afternoon before and there were snap happy tourists everywhere but decided to come back the next morning and there wasn’t a soul in sight, just the crashing ocean to keep me company… Unfortunately as of early June 2009 this archway has collapsed leaving two apostles next to eachother.
