This pelican looks pretty well satisfied with his life near the Municipal Pier on Tampa Bay at St. Petersburg, Florida. Fat and sassy, he is happy to pose for a picture. Taken with an HP Photosmart R818 and processed in PhotoShop.

I came across this beautiful cascading waterfall that started all the way from the top of the mountain to where I was, and continued down into the stream. This was taken in Cumbria, England. Shot with a Canon 400D with a Sigma 10-20mm Wide-angled lens. 3 exposures blended into one using Photomatix.

I like airshows. And my grubby secret is that I love the aesthetic and sound of military aircraft. I’m no aviation nutter, but I do like to catch the Avalon airshow each 2 years. It’s so easy to disconnect with the fact that this B1 bomber is only good for one thing, killing lots of people. But the noise its engines make, that’s something!

In this picture I’m absolutely myself because I am doing what I love…being creative, taking pictures and I really like to travel! I had just come from swimming on this photo shoot day. I love to swim….I swim an hour solid & then I do water toning & aerobic exercises! I hope you enjoy meeting me through the comments I leave on your photographs & by viewing this image. We could not believe our eyes when we saw the big whole in this fungi. The snail who proberbly ate the bog whole in this fungi was asleep down the bottom of the fungi . When he woke up from me making photo’s he tried to move on. / Oldina Forest reserve, Tasmania /
