There’s something about a wren that’s sassy and saucy. This perky little songbird’s got a loud mouth, a brisk, brash way about it, and tons of attitude. Tail up in the air, it seems to be saying, “I may be small, but nobody’s gonna step on me!”

Thanks for all the cool sunflower seeds and the suet cakes!!! Umm … sorry about all the hungry birds, but a squirrel’s gotta do what a squirrel’s gotta doooo!” Our clever squirrels continually outwit the greatest squirrel-proof-birdfeeder minds and happily hang upside down and practically inside out to munch away at the seeds I put out for my feathered friends. Frustrating, yes, but sometimes … ya just gotta to laugh right along with them!!!! This image was taken with the Nikon D40x using the 70-300mm VR Nikkor lens with the UV filter.

This artwork was originally a painting i created, 75×100cm, although she had light brown hair and was no where near as smoky as this little hussybag!!! I jazzed up her photo in photoshop and she came out like this. One of my favourite pieces of artwork i’ve ever created, although i do wish i painted her like this in the first place, just so she could hang on my wall and remind me that i really do love to paint.

I wanted to try my strobe through a shoot through outside this cool looking mini brick wall with grass around. I just love these pictures of her! Sorry guys, I will probably upload a few of her from this session. It’s actually been awhile since you’ve seen some new stuff of Kaylie, the DIVA! She is 5 years old now and as sassy as ever!
