We are not done here… a new image will be presented soon,,, Sari tree is only the unveiling for this beautiful verse by our most wonderful poet and a true mentor to me…. Look and See…..Lianne Across the Universe I call you across the universe / of endless time and space, / lover of ages past and future. / I search for you in sunsets, / in vast black, star filled skies, / I hear you in the sultry song that thrums / its repeating rhythm in my veins, / I touch you in the velvet of violets, / and the dewy mystery of morning mist. / Our story oft rewritten / recurring dream, repeating theme / of love beyond eternal - / connected now and ever. / In medieval courts of love / perhaps one time I was bold / Queen Isolde to your Tristan, / illicit lovers, almost sick with / compelling, hungry longing, / intense though deadly in the end; / or in eastern harem an / odalisque of your commanding, / love veiled and hidden / behind duty more than passion or / Mary to your Bothwell / abandoning my throne to speed / o’er heathered highlands / to one last intimate communion / with you, my destiny. / It matters not the / where or when or / who we might have been. / The link remains, the / bond we forged unbroken for / I have loved you always, / long before this present moment, / and in all the eons yet to come / will love you yet again.
These three women in their lovely saris, so typical everywhere we went, caught the evening light as they walked down a crowded Jodhpur street. / More travel shots like this in: / My Adventures
A Bishnoi woman, in India’s Great Thar Desert, keeps her environment clean. Her village, located in Rajasthan, is about 30km from the Pakistani border. She uses a broom made from a bundle of straw bound together. / From what I could see, she was doing little more than stirring up dust. But anyhow, it made for a good photo!
This was 9 months ago when I attended an opening of a friends business here in Half Moon Bay… I forgot I did dress the part of the gracious Indian Hostess. My friend was relieved. I had a business in catering at one time in my life and saved him from the worrisome details that can take place were food drink and Art can be found… My Indian connections here at RB…”Linaji ..Indian …American Style”!!!

This beautiful young Indian woman was smiling at my wife. I feel the image expresses ” The Divine ” in her with that beaming smile. I also love the colours that she is wearing and the beautiful soft colours of her friends in the background. This image was originally shot on Velvia 50 Fujichrome at f2.8 hence the rich colours, there is virtually no post production adjustment, except a tiny adjustment with Levels in Photoshop.I hope that you love her as much as we do.
These kind of shots belong to my “babies’ my REAL favorites,..it makes me so happy to be able to make photos like these…I hope you enjoy this as much as i do…PURE BEAUTY…. Rajahstan, India
