This little sapling has nearly every leaf color imaginable on it. I took this photo just yesterday, 11-08-08. It’s unusual to still have any foliage with much color on it this late in the fall season here. But to still have a few green leaves and such a grand display of colors on one little tree, it must really have wanted to be noticed. I think it deserves attention. LavenderMoon~

This little Eucalyptus Sapling was found in the shallow waters of Lake Baroon (Baroon Pocket Dam) – Montville, Queensland. Time was approx 15 minutes after sunset, last light, and the heavens lit up with pinks and purples! This photo is as is from the camera, only some camera setting changes for saturation and WB. Lake Baroon has a surface area of 400 ha, and average dpeth of 15 metres. It’s an important water supply for the Sunshine Coast region. This lake is also fish stocked with several native species to the area, and can be very good fishing :) Canon 50D, 10mm, 30 second, 100 ISO. Available Large!
