  • Wanted to put this one up because i like the way his legs seem so real and life- like despite the surreal setting – simple as that really.

  • This was taken at the coast at the end of our summer, heading into fall. A very lazy and quiet day, with nothing but the sounds of the ocean and seagulls.

  • Yes, they are my feet and I’m relaxing on the beach watching the kids play in the water. I gave this image some texture and it reminds me of a very lazy, Aussie summer’s day at the beach.

  • I know that in an artistic sense this is quite simple, however to me it has great meaning. The image is of my two boys who are also the best of friends. They have an unbreakable bond and here, they are doing something they love; just being together.

  • I liked this image of my little girl as, to me it’s a simple and dreamy capture of childhood where it’s always happy, uncomplicated with bright colours, fluffy white clouds and sparkly light.

  • Pencil illustration on beach artwork image.

  • To me, this photo symbolizes the beautiful journey of a father and son through life.. Silhouettes are my favorite thing to capture, there is so much emotion without even seeing facial expressions.

  • take a break from life and walk the plank

  • Sunset at the Great Salt Lake in Utah.

  • Like in the words of the song…..... know when to hold her, know when to fold her, know when to walk away, know when to run….......................................

Background Information: / Tofino is a village of about 1,650 residents on the west coast of Vancouver Island, in British Columbia, Canada, located at the western terminus of Highway 4. It is located at the tip of the Esowista Peninsula, and is thus a part of Clayoquot Sound. Islands in the vicinity include Meares, Vargas and Flores. Lone Cone on Meares Island is an extinct volcano. Tofino and the nearby town of Ucluelet are the closest towns to the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve. The settlement of Tofino first acquired the name in 1909 with the opening of the Tofino Post Office, named in association with Tofino Inlet nearby. Tofino Inlet was named in 1792 by the Spanish commanders Galiano and Valdés, in honor of Admiral Vicente Tofiño, under whom Galiano had learned cartography. A popular tourist destination in the summer, Tofino’s population swells to many times its winter size. It attracts surfers, nature lovers, campers, whale watchers, fishermen, or anyone just looking to be close to nature. In the winter it is not as bustling, however, many people visit Tofino and the west coast to watch storms on the water. Close to Tofino is Long Beach, a scenic and popular year-round destination, at the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve. Nearby Maquinna Marine Provincial Park, with its natural hot springs, is located about 45 kilometres (28 mi) north of Tofino and is also a popular day-trip destination for tourists although it is only reachable by boat or float plane. • I have always loved Sea urchins and have always collected them from when i was a child right up into adulthood. They would be the first thing I would look for when I got out of my car and my feet hit the sand on the beach. Suprisingly there arent that many to be found anymore on the beach where I have always gone to find them. sony ax 300 SLR 70 – 200ml lense.

  • I just happened to take my camera with me when I took my dog Jess, to the local beach. Jess decided it was much nicer lying on the beach than walking on it so I just lay opposite her and fired off a few shots. She’s very used to me taking shots so she just waited patiently for me to finish. Nikon D3 / 17-35mm lens / f/2.8
