Those hearty stones and details can be found everywhere… And where would be the luck of two hearts be more perfect than on vacation, on a beach, accompanied by the sound of waves licking at the shores…
Used the available side lighting to capture the detail and colour of this sand stone stairway, at an old church.
Unlike this image drawn in the sand, love, true love lasts. / This heart was drawn by my wife in the sand just before the sea came and claimed it back.
This was shot the same day as “Blue Skies”, and that day was a day, where everything came together. I didn’t have to process this much, I guess I must have had the settings right.
A shot of sand & stone garden at the Japanese Garden, Portland, OR.
In the beautiful light on the last day of 2007 here, I had to go to the beach also. Depending on wind and currents, the sea sometimes take the sand away while at other times, like here, id adds new sand again. While this is going on, some of it may be flooded, and if the sun shines, beautiful reflections of the sky are created.

More details soon. / Although no material I used is directly linked to Peru, and I didn’t know about Paracas culture before researching it from my friend’s track title (‘Paracas’), it seems his music, that I listened to while creating the picture, magically guided me towards this abstraction strangely reminiscent of Pre-Columbian geoglyphs. Hence the name I chose aftwerwards (translating as ‘From here to Paracas’). / / © 2009 by Nodakami / www.nodakami.com
