  • Thank you to all who sent good wishes while I have been unwell. Very much appreciated!! Still not 100% but at least can browse the galleries a bit now, and make an occasional comment. This was taken at Berrara Beach on the beautiful South Coast of NSW with my old Kodak 3mp point and shoot. Text added by Rosalie.

  • It wasn’t too cold… but it wasn’t exactly a warm sunny, Summer’s day. Probably because it’s Autumn! Christies Beach, South Australia.

  • Sunset on the beach in Hilton Head, South Carolina.

  • Bonza Bay beach, East London, Eastern Cape, South Africa / I sold this image middle of July this year. Well, a stock library I had almost forgotten about sold it for R300, I got R240! Not via a person viewing the stock library, and buying from there (I would have gotten less), but because East London (also known as Buffalo City) was looking for images for a “focus on Buffalo City” publication, and approached the stock library owner, who chose a few images from different people. / I was, and still am, really really pleased!

  • Sunset on Hilton Head Island beach in black and white. / (By: Terri~Lynn, 2008) “Footprints in the Sand” One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky. In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there were two sets of footprints, other times there was one only. This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could see only one set of footprints, so I said to the Lord, “You promised me Lord, / that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life there has only been one set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed you most, have you not been there for me?” The Lord replied, “The years when you have seen only one set of footprints, my child, is when I carried you.” —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—- Mary Stevenson, 1936

Brighton beach is approximately 5 km south of the Glenelg wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) and the Barcoo outlet. Main water quality issues in this region are elevated nutrients and heavy metals, particularly after rain.” (From: http://www.epa.sa.gov.au/brighton.html) Photomatix - Tonemapped generated HDR using detail enhancer option The Shot Single exposure shot (+2..0..-2 EV) taken handheld Photoshop - Increase Contrast and Saturaion / - Lucisart Processing / - Saturation Increased
