  • Longtail boats at Koh Gai (Chicken Island), Krabi, Thailand. I didn’t even notice the name of the boat when the shot was taken. I like it though.

  • Late on an autumn day at the beach.

  • Another coastal sunrise – still the East Norfolk coast at a place called Great Yarmouth. Got a train from Norwich @ 05.36 and was home by 09.00. Efficient I hear you say? Thanks :)

  • Oil Painting, on canvas board / Sun and sand and romance for Brooklynites. And one man I actually had a long if tempestuous relationship with. We loved and warred with equal passion, and this was a magical day which I still remember fondly. God he was so good-looking. And he could cook! I thought he shot the moon. Or hung the moon. Whichever it is, that feeling that girls get when they’re head over tea-kettle. / I paint a lot of experiences that have a profound effect on me. Sometimes they hustle inside my brain for years before I get to it, but eventually it all pours out. This, I believe I painted right in the middle of all the fine emotional uproar going on. How time passes.

  • Taken at Point Henry, Geelong. Tidal activity had created the zig-zag formation of seaweed.

  • A rather gloomy, threatening, stormy morning at Mogg’s Creek, situated between Airey’s Inlet and Lorne, on The Great Ocean Road.

  • This is a shot of the lagoon at Greenpatch, Booderee National Park, Jervis Bay. I very rarely do shots during the day but this is one of those landscapes where strong light worked an advantage in bringing out the colours. The colour of the lagoon is from the tannin that leaches into the water from all the native tea tree bushes that line the creek as it empties into it. Combine that with shallow water and fine light sand and it really brings out the colour. Canon 30D / Tv: 1/125 / Av: f/8 / ISO: 100 / FL: 16mm

Group – PRETTY PORTS OF EUROPE Challengr May – 22 – 2009 / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-——- Nikon D100 Sigma 15/30 Camogli / Camogli’s biggest tourist attraction is its annual fish-fry and festival during the second weekend of May. Saturday’s “blessing of the fish” festivities include bonfires and a spectacular display of fireworks. On Sunday the town pulls out what is said to be the largest skillet in the world (about four meters - more than 12 feet - in diameter) and fries up a huge helping of fish donated by the local fish cooperative. If you’re planning a trip to Camogli, the best way to get there is by train. From Genoa, it’s just a 20-minute ride. Driving is not recommended since parking is scarce, especially during the crowded summer months. Once you arrive, you can get just about everywhere by foot. Just be sure to put on your walking shoes and be prepared to hike a lot of stairs.

  • Coming home from a job in Melbourne today, i saw there was some crazy light about so went for a drive to Point Lonsdale. While there this stunning double and vibrant rainbow appeared. I was running backwards up the beach in the rain to try and fit the rainbow into my 24ml lens. I left my 17ml at home. Damn about that. A couple walking on the beach said to me they have lived in the area for 25 years and walk the beach quite often and said that they have never seen such a perfect, vibrant rainbow as this. Was just a beautiful and awesome sight to behold.

  • Image taken on the sand dunes of South Stradbroke Island. The colours and contrast was a truly awesome sight. / Canon 450D / 18-200 lens

  • An acrylic painting 50cm x 60cm on canvas of Mill Beach, Australia. A beautiful part of the coastline of Australia where I was taken to recently for a surprise anniversary trip by my husband. The view was spectacular with its sparkling Blue water which contrasted with the Orange colours in the rock formations. A moment in time now captured on canvas to share with you.
