Took this on Stockton Bight, a long series of sand dunes that stretch from Anna Bay to Newcastle. These traps were placed to protect Williamtown air base (I believe) during World War II. 26km or so of these, 2m high concrete reinforced pyramids, and now all you can find is this small group, situated in a sand blow. Even they come and go depending on the wind. We took a tour from Anna bay, to see the tank traps, tin city and the wreck of the Sygma(?) As 2007 is fading out so are our chances blown away for some decent rain from that low pressure system out at sea. Was a very interesting beach walk anyway. / Happy new Year everyone!

The sand dunes on the Cape are a never ending and ever changing source of inspiration for me. This was taken near sunset close to the Herring Cove Beach.

This to me gives this sacred place the feel I was looking for. It is in northwestern New Mexico in the Four Corners area where New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona and Utah all meet and is a very sacred place to the Navajo people.
