Shall we Dance
When strife and stress seem to capture our lives, / and worries rob our calmness; retreat back to the / days where dreams and complexities were simpler / and problems were trivial. They still are in relative / terms as we remember bears and owls, / magic wands and rabbits. The third verse to Kenny Loggins’ song is as follows; “It’s hard to explain how a few precious things / Seem to follow throughout all our lives. / After all’s said and done I was watching my son / Sleeping there with my bear by his side. / So I tucked him in, I kissed him and as I was going, / I swear that the old bear whispered… boy welcome home.” Wonderful little places are gifts.
A friend and coworker, Ginny Hindman, had visited / Rwanda and had taken some pics of the beautiful / country and the wild life living in it. She gave them / to me to do some post processing and a good many / of them turned out very well. With her permission, I will / be posting some of them. I hope you enjoy her pictures / and my editing. We are both pleased. Please view larger to enjoy more fully /

This photo was taken a long time ago so sorry / for the grainy look. Did a little touch up because / of that. I used to have a cat named Radar and one / day I had taken a mirror off a wall and laid it on the / floor – Radar was fascinated with his new found / friend, that being himself.
Tis through the soul’s window / that beauty is seen, / taking in treasures / recording feelings pristine. / There pondered, adored, / in love they are cared, / then reflected back out / to be given and shared. Photo taken in Williamsburg, Virginia.
