Im not surprised though that the records room lead straight on to the fire exit, so much loose paper in one place is just asking for trouble, especially as smoking will have been allowed in here up until probably about the 70’s.

A 22° halo from the sun reaches down and touches the top of the Salvation Army archway that leads to the cemetery. On beautiful sunny days where cirrus clouds are present, an icebow (a type of halo) can form around the sun in a perfect spherical ring as light is dispersed by the tiny ice crystals suspended high above the earth. A 22° halo is a particular icebow that has red light on the inside and bright blue on the outside as seen in this photo. Photo taken in Lower Island Cove, Newfoundland, Canada

In some ways, we are no bigger and no stronger than little dragonflies, yet we need not fear as we have a gracious God to watch over us. I’ve experienced two hurricanes in the last two weeks and though we have suffered financial losses and extensive damage to property, faith remains firm and strong. I call that a miracle. Storms can uproot trees, blow off rooftops, and even take lives, but they can’t touch a strong inner core of faith that trusts in a Savior who will never fail us in life or in death. So with the Psalmist we can pray with confidence: “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?” (Psalm 27:1)

I Was Lifted Up On Angel’s Wings ~ By WhtDove I was lifted up on Angels’ wings, / And through the Heavens soared. / When I came upon a brilliant light, / I found it was my Lord.
