  “While strolling around my quiet neighbourhood, a quick leaf turn and a speedy little tail told me of the presence of a curious Chipmunk. I knelt down and waited. There she was, peeking through a fallen leaf. She leapt closer and I started to capture frames. / / Her sweet face was delightful. The camera clicks kept her amused, and she decided to get a better view of the noisy device.   Wild Neighbours

  Red-legged Frog (Rana aurora) / / “We are blessed by the existence of a conservation area abutting our wooded property. New acquaintances with many a wild neighbour bring thrill to our lives. Fom the largest to the smallest of the forest dwellers, each creature is a jewel and something to be appreciated and respected. White-tail Deer, Red Fox, Coyote, Cottontail, Frog and Toad, myriad birds from the tiny to the raptor to Wild Turkey, Raccoon, Bat, glittering insects and more. / / “Humane solutions seek a peaceful co-existence with those hungry wild dwellers who may, occassionally, turn the lid of the litter bin or, during nest-building season, engange in a noisy pecking then a franctic drilling of our wooden house. / / “Our property certified as a Wildlife Habitat and we are for a safe co-existence with all dwellers who find a home in it or venture through it. / / “Like this pretty frog Rana aurora. Strangely enough, New England, USA, is not its range (Vancouver Island and coastal British Columbia, south along the Pacific coast to northern California; introduced populations in Nevada).   “This leopard mother with her two juvenile sons were sleeping their siesta. Lazily lying on a rock, they naturally composed by themselves a pretty collage. Each individual bears a unique pattern in different hues. / / Their bodies aligned in a way that formed a triangle among them.   "La ciudad salvaje" ("Wild city") I

  This is one of the things that lose its identity in time. What’s it? Simply, it is. Simply, we are. / Nowadays, it doesn’t matter if something is artificial or a natural thing in a city. Both adjectives mean the same. The idea of a dynamic landscape starts with little things changing in another shapes. Mine, it’s a question of the rare, hybrid or confusing identity of some carefully selected objects. This condition can catch the viewer’s attention, imagination and make him or her follow a supposed progress of their local landscape. I call it “archeological fiction”.
