Salt flats near Swakopmund photographed from the air. What I find interesting is that as the water recedes the algae metabolise at a different rate that changes their colour. That is why it looks like there is blood on the landscape.

My friend Sal – a beautiful person and photographer who has been a big encouragement to me from the moment we met here on the bub, and goes by the name salsbells69, just made my day because she purchased 4 tshirts with my designs on them… i cannot thank her enough, thank you Sal!!! it was a wonderful surprise…. i have been very fortunate lately, with many sales, which have all been to fellow bubblers, your support has been incredible…and also very humbling and i feel so honoured that you like my designs enough to want to wear them and share them, there could be nothing more fulfilling for any artist, and nothing more fullfilling for me. Because of the high standard of art that comes from you all, you have spurred me on enormously to push myself beyond my normal boundaries, and i have been growing as a human being, even flourishing you might say. Hello everyone, I would like to introduce you to my friend ‘Adam’. Please take a look at his folio WhiteRabbit64. He has some great photographs and is only new to Redbubble. I dont know how to get the link here so hopefully it wont be too hard to find him. P.S My favourite is the little fairy penguin he caught on camera. There are two delightful pics of him there. During a severe storm in Santa Maria, California, USA. Cloud to cloud and cloud to ground all in the same shot. This was taken with a 30 second exposure set to f/22 at 24mm.

One late afternoon I decided to walk up to the cable-car almost atop the famous Mount Salève. There was an odd haze over the usually perfectly visible city of Genève/Geneva and my camera was on hand, so here is the result.
