  • We all live under the same sky, but we don’t have the same horizon. Konrad Adenauer (1833-1906)

  • It was a bit of a stormy day today as I set off down the west side of Okanogan Lake headed north to Fintry Estate, when I spotted this lone Sailboat out on the lake. As you can see there is fresh snow on the mountainsides and it was in fact trying to snow when I stopped to take this photo. Looking south, with the Westbank First Nations reserve land in the background. It started to warm up shortly after this photo was taken and the sun came out to play. Photo taken Mar.21/2008

  • In the harbor in the small town of Point Arena on Northern California’s rugged coast there is a wonderful little restaurant and a few small shops. We found this old anchor leaned up against the steps that lead up to the shops. If it could talk it would no doubt talk with wonder and awe about the sailors who sailed the Pacific and the amazing places it had visited and the fateful day that it ended up here at rest in the harbor of Point Arena. Taken with my Canon Rebel XSi with a 55-250mm lens. 50% of what I receive from sales will be donated to help military families/children during the holidays…so spend large and lets help them out!
