  • This is a photo of an East African black mane male lion resting in the morning light after eating. You can still see the mass of flies on his nose due to the blood from the kill on his nose…I took this on safari during my honeymoon with a Canon T-90 SLR film camera and a 300mm zoom lens…then I scanned the color slide so the quality of this image is not what one would expect compared to a digital camera but I thought of the 52 rolls of slides I took this photo was my most memorable. Now, with digital equipment I dream of going back…I hope that opportunity presents itself. / / /

  • This is the 1st image post edited from a series of 35mm color slides taken 20 yrs ago this month while on my honeymoon on Safari in Kenya Africa. / I’ve scanned these slides in TRIBUTE to Kodak RETIRING the world (77 years) famous KODACHROME color slide film due to little demand with the digital market taking over the industry. It’s quite amazing this film can hold up for so many years. / This image is very SPECIAL…I was standing out on the Plains camera in one hand and a glass of champagne in the other while in the middle of wilderbeast during their great migration and it was my 40th birthday…I toasted God & Mother Nature for such a fine present. I hope you will enjoy this series. / /
