Here the young Horned God is sat next to a river pans flute in hand. Whilst around him all manor of fairy folk play and watch the world go by in this tranquill sacred space. / Above and below the central image great water dragons or wurms keep watch, each is twisted upon itself like an arangment of celtic knots. This dragon theam is continued around the border to tie the whole image together. / Researching this peace was almost as much fun as drawing and inking it. Nearly all cultures have storys about water spirits and most of these are linked to these great wurms. / For those with a keen eye i would suggest still viewing this image enlarged.
