  • Would love people’s opinions on this. I have started taking lots of photos of Melbourne’e laneways because I love them. i also like this effect, even if it can be considered cliched. I want to make the shot a bit more grungy but I feel I am almost there.

My deaarest friend Cass and I went into Hosier Lane the other day with the intention of buggering around and came out with a set of slightly punk-marionette pictures. I never knew, but she’s quite the photographer so I forced her to make an RB account so you could all check them out. www.redbubble.com/people/cassandralilley Here we have me modelling and Cassandra Lilley taking snaps, please take time to comment and you’ll find one of the photos is on the homepage. Enjoy! xx / s-a

  • Street Art in Melbourne

  • Went on a little stroll around the city today to shoot a couple of laneways with Flamegirl for Laneway Magazine who requested some shots of this little spot. This is the same lane as shot in my Hosier Lane but up the other end facing the other way :D I’ve been using HDR sparingly lately but it helps to bring out so much character in these laneways that I simply can’t resist. This is also one of my first goes experimenting with the square format too! / Settings Canon 5D, 17-40mm f4 L USM. FL: 17 mm 1/160th of a second @ f4 (Multiple Exposures), ISO 800 No Filters Adobe Lightroom 2, HDR in Photomatix Pro & Stitched together in Adobe Photoshop CS4 Click here for my other images of laneways and graffiti Click here for my other images of Melbourne
