This old tractor and cart reside on a property which has been dontated to Council locally – as you can see by the sign leaning on the cart, they used to sell honey and eggs to the locals. While my scanner is on the blink I’ve been going through some of my photos taken while in Shanghai, China in 2006 and found a few with potential. I don’t think I’ll upload too many as photography isn’t one of my strong points, but it is fun to see what you can do with an image in photoshop. This one was taken while in a river traffic jam, our driver was a real character!

This one was taken on the poorer streets of Shanghai, all those bikes just caught my eye!

Red Rooster Winery, Naramata, British Columbia, Canada – August 2008 My Dear Friend, Jean-Louis, suggested re-shooting poor ol’ Rusty here in HDR so here he is…............. I’m pretty sure he is a cousin to Trudi’s “Road to Nowhere”............ I hope to be able to afford new tires for Rusty soon so I can drive home my fresh supply of wine from the Wine Country! LOL! I took this shot back in June 2009 & on August the 19th 2009 some kind soul bought a poster of ‘Lost & Found’ / The bike shed and bike belong to Forresters House which is just along the drive from the shed. It belongs to friends of DaRat; Debbie and Mick. DaRat informs me that the shed and bike are still there and that its a popular photographic subject with many other enthusiastic photographers. Debbie & Mick bought a print which they will frame and display in their lounge as a reminder of their famous shed. / Many thanks to you both, hope all the new visitors don’t spoil your peace & tranquility. / If you want to take the same shot just head along to Glen Etive, you should find the bike leaning against a shed. / Lost & Found is primarly intended as a canvas print but all image options are available all the way down to a greetings card which can also be framed. /

Another shot from the abandoned brickworks factory in Brunswick, Melbourne. This was on the second level up, hidden in the back corner of the room. It grabbed my attention as it was the only real red painted object in the room. Everything else was a reddish brown rust. I was exploring there with Chris, have a gander at his folio for more shots from our adventures. Textures used from www.deviantart.com free use stock, viewfinder texture from AaronCampbell on deviantart.com. Colour tweaking and lightening to achieve a faded vintage feel.
