River and I biked/ran along the old highway 512 in Renfrew County and we encountered this “shed complex” that has obviously lived a long and perhaps difficult life! Donation to charity / 50% of the proceeds of the sale of this image will be donated to Algonquin Park
At this point I am not sure Spring would ever come so perhaps the thaw around the tree over the lake was just some kind of “tease”. :)
Just before the last light of the day disappeared, River and I got to the edge of the forest and she had a good run at the other side of the fence! :)
This is another shed along the same road that River and I could stay over night! :) :) :)
River loved the woods, any large piece of forests where she could find foxes, deer, moose and wolves, or even a piece of woods just has trees would make her heart “leap”. :) Donation to charity / 50% of the proceeds of the sale of this image will be donated to Algonquin Park

This is Henry Whitehead’s smokehouse. Being constructed well, like his cabin, it has stood the test of time. During a tornado that ripped thru Cades Cove in the latter part of 1970s, a pine tree was uprooted and thrown on top of the smokehouse. It crushed the roof but the sturdy walls held their ground

Came across this wonderful, overgrown, ramshackle old shed around the Armadale area in Perth, Western Australia. This is the beautiful boardwalk on Kaula’uo / Ulua Mokapu Beach Wailea I love the textures and beautiful colours, it is such a lovely weathered shade of aquamarine, jade blue….
