I got a laugh out of this Male morning dove. It saw me photographing it and decided to give me a shot at it`s best side. It seems like something a bunch of teens or young adults may do on a bus trip. Moon everyone!

A Yellow-rumped Warbler, perched around some new tree buds.

You’re more likely to hear these lovely little parrots before you see them, despite the brilliant plumage of the males. They chatter away to each other almost incessantly as they walk over grassy areas, searching for seed. They move in quite large flocks, and certainly aren’t too proud to accept a helping hand when drought makes food scarce. They regularly mix happily with the crested pidgeons at our seed tray. The male is the most colourful, and the bird gets its name from red plumage on its lower back, just visible between folded wings. If you look at the male on the left of pic, you’ll just see some of this red. Females and juveniles are much plainer, with mainly olive green plumage.
