On Saturday, April 12, 2008 my band, Under Pressure will be playing at a benefit dance for a local man who has contracted a rare lung disease, and will likely not be able to return to work. Earlier in the day there will a Chinese auction and a silent auction. Both Darlene and myself have donated a print each of the organizer’s choosing. An image of my 1970’s Gibson SG Standard made of Mahogany. The other guitar player in my band, Under Pressure loves playing this guitar. I bought this years ago from the brother of a friend for $130.00. He was originally selling it to me for $300.00, but kept deducting money every time he would call me to jam at a local bar. On June 4, 2009 Darlene and I were on a cruise of the Halifax Harbour in the Atlantic province of Nova Scotia, Canada which was provided by our local radio station, 96.5 Kool FM. A few years ago my wife, Darlene and I were staying at White Point Beach Resort in the Atlantic Canadian province of Nova Scotia, Canada around mid – November. Darlene got the idea to write I love you in the sand and we took some pictures of it. She then got even more ambitious with the idea and proceeded to collect a bunch of rocks from the very cold beach and spelled it out with the rocks. You can see the result of this effort on her profile. The image is simply called I Love You The image you see here is one of my shots of the writing in the sand. I think that this will make a wonderful card for anyone who wants to express how they feel about that special person in their life. This would also look great framed. / / / /
