Melbourne is vastly awesomer at rugby and probably even has spunkier players. (not that I’ve ever watched a game) But since you are so convinced, we challenge you to a friendly group wager The group who’s team wins the rugby, can kidnap a group host from the losing side for 2 weeks and make them do all sorts of hosting chores. You could make them run challenges about how great your city is, or make them organise a meet up from another state, or make them responsible for doing 100% of the featuring, or make them blog in the forums every. single. day. Yes, you will have a slave host to serve your group while you sip martinis and read Australian Womens’ Weekly. and… To make this a serious wager – the winning group can also send one of their hosts to invade the losing side and make sure the loss is sorely felt! So, feeling confident still? Do we have a deal? it’s entirely possible that almost every detail in this post is made up, and that we talked about this yesterday, but the wager still stands!

WWS-R5 Hard hitting tackle and a bone breaking landing. / This guy was down after this event for a good few minutes, and there is little support in the amateur game from medical crews. He seemd OK around 10 minutes later, but I winced at the bang I heard down the length of the field when he landed.

WWS-R6 A hard fought attack led to a try, but there seemed few smiles. I havnt a clue who the sides were, nor the score, It was just to cold and windy to stay out there, but the series has given me some sports practice with the camera.

If not, someone please let me know :) I have found that the realistic portrait type treatment of the head and cartoon treatment of the body quite popular with clients. The caricature with distorted features is fun for everyone else but not always for the person who has to live with it :)

Just having a go at the “Mexicans”* :) NSW talk for those who are “South of the border”.... This probably won’t mean a lot to anyone outside Australia – maybe even inside Australia…. maybe something to those residing on Sydney’s Northern Peninsula who follow Rugby League.
