Simple graphic of a cat and dog together as friends. Perfect for those who have pets, love animals or to give to a friend or someone you love. All of my proceeds will be donated to my local RSPCA.
This photo was taken at the Animal Welfare League in Wingfield, South Australia. No photoshop was used other than to alter the colours a bit. The puppy’s smile, although blurred due to depth of field (i was using a 50mm f/1.4 at 1.4 focussing only on her eyes) was real! This puppy was adopted shortly after.

An occupational hazzard associated with being the official photographer for the RSPCA WA! This little guy’s sole agenda was to jump at me and latch onto whatever he could. In this case it was the leg of my jeans, but he also had a good chew on my hand, camera strap and even a 50mm lens! This puppy was re-homed the day this shot was taken. Profit portion of any sales will go to the RSPCA WA. Taken with a Canon 5D and 50mm prime lens @ f1.8, ISO 1000, 1/400th sec, handheld. Featured in Canon DSLR Group Feb 2009. Featured in Workshop Camera Club June 2009. Placed in top 10 (9th) in Paws ‘n’ claws Dog Profile Challenge, August 2009.
Taken Tuesday morning at Langstone Harbour, the 6 cygnets that I snapped the day they were born earlier this year are all grown up now. I often see them with their parents and this morning was no exception. I am slightly concerned as one of the parents was limping very badly but did manage to get to the water and join the others. I phoned the local naturewatch crew to find out if anybody looked after the welfare of the wild birds, it would seem nobody does so I was advised to keep an eye on the swans and if the limp gets worse and the swan can’t feed I should contact the RSPCA as they will have the right kit for catching (hopefully ) the swan. I shall go and look for it tomorrow morning. Here 3 of the cygnets are busy grooming while a egret weaves in and out feeding. It was a dark and damp morning.

Possibly the most handsome male cat I have ever seen, this guy was, and is, a very confident chap who I’m positive knows just how gorgeous he truly is. He arrived at the RSPCA just before Christmas along with several of his siblings after they were left to fend for themselves in a vacated rental property. He was pretty thin – as were his siblings – when he arrived but when they were adopted just three weeks later, they were much fatter AND had all grown a penchant for a good brush! Lots of brushing for these long haired breeds… Why? Because they’re worth it :) Simple pop with some level enhancements to bring out the detail…
Bubbles is a 3-month-old Shar-Pei who was abandoned and brought to us at the RSPCA about a week ago. I couldn’t resist taking a few shots of her this afternoon. A wonderful bundle of joy and energy! D80 F4.5 @ 1/200 with a 50mm Nikor lens
It’s RSPCA WA kitten Oscar again, this time doing his Mini-Wolverine pose! Not bad for 6 weeks old and less than 10cm tall! Taken with Canon 5D and 24-105mm lens, f11, ISO 100, 1/200th sec, Elinchrom studio lights, white backdrop. Featured in Cats & Dogs Group, May 2009.
Oscar the RSPCA WA (Perth) kitten has a feed. This image was taken when he was 6 weeks old. He was found abandoned at a factory site when he was 1 week old, and was taken in at the RSPCA. A staff member fostered him and now intends to make him a permanent member of her family. Taken with Canon 5D and 24-105mm lens, @f11, ISO 100, 1/200th sec, Elinchrom lights kit and white background. This Neishima, at 3 weeks of age, a puppy rescued from an owner who couldnt care for her, and cared for by the RSPCA WA. When this shot was taken, her eyes had barely opened and she was learning to walk. She is being fostered between three amazing staff members, until she is big enough to find a new home. Taken with Canon 5D and 24-105mm lens @ f11, ISO 100, 1/200th sec, studio lights. Profit proceeds of any sales go to the RSPCA WA. This is our beautiful new addition to our family. I know you all thought it was going to be a child, but my daughter Aysha decided to add some companionship to her life the easy way. No 9 months, no loss of waistline, no additional kilo’s and definitely no stretch marks. She adopted Moet from the RSPCA in Morley- Perth- Western Australia. I am not sure what his mix is but he looks like part Abyssinian and part silver tabby. His markings are incredible. His head is a silver grey and his body is a golden brown. He has spots on his back and tiger stripes on his legs. The soles of his feet are a chocolate brown. He is 2 years old and was surrendered by a family who had three other cats as well. One of them had been diagnosed with feline HIV and was put down. The other three were tested and O.K. The family had four children and had said they couldn’t feed them any more. Moet has settled in really well and is extremely affectionate. Thanks for visiting / Taken with my Canon 40DSLR / F2.8 / Iso 400 / 1/60 sec / White balance- auto
