This neolithic tomb,at the Knowe of Yarso on the island of Rousay in Orkney, was constructed in about 3000 BC. When it was excavated in 1934 the remains of 29 people were discovered with the skulls arranged neatly against the wall. The remains of up to 30 animals. mainly deer, were also discovered. Curious.
