“This Charming Man” is an up-tempo song, featuring guitar, bass, and drums. The song begins with a short introductory guitar riff; and after about four seconds the rhythm section. The vocals are first heard eight seconds after this. The chorus is heard only twice. The first time it is followed by a brief pause and the second time by the closing of the song. Lyrics – Marr/Morrissey (The Smiths) A punctured bicycle / On a hillside desolate / Can nature make a man of me yet ? And in this charming car / This charming man Why pamper life’s complexity / When the leather runs smooth / On the passenger seat ? A pastel sketch of a rough hewn cross. Mine were the hands which held the crayons, but God the one who moved them. / We are all held in God’s hands always. We were the day Jesus stretched out his arms in love for us from the cross. / And so it is now.

Aah, the title is an example of my horrible make-up-Japanese. This was done in a much quicker, rougher style, and could probably be attributed to my playing of Okami recently.

I’ve been sitting on this design for a while now. I roughed up this sketch initially to get it out of my head, with the plan to work on it further and create a more elaborate vector piece. As yet, I haven’t gotten around to working on it further, but I was quite happy with how the sketch turned out, so I decided to share it. If I can find the energy and inspiration, I may complete the piece, but until then I hope you enjoy this one!
