  • Today was a holiday in Victoria, everyone got the day off for a horse race, I’ve been here for 6 years and still can’t get over that. Anyway, my daughter and I decided to give the birds an early feed this morning and we were practically ambushed. I kept having to gently push and shake them from my camera lens. Most of the time I had one nibbling away at my baseball hat while I was taking pictures. This is a King Parrot in her hand and a crimson rosella about to land on her shoulder.

  • There was a greedy guts at the picnic. This male King Parrot thought he was the king of seed and fought with anyone who came to my daughter. In her arms: King Parrot, Crimson Rosella and a Galah.
