The new train station Berlin Hauptbahnhof (Germany)... Berlin Hauptbahnhof, or Berlin Central Station, is the main railway station in Berlin, Germany and the largest crossing station in Europe. It began full operation two days after a ceremonial opening on 26 May 2006. It is now Europe’s largest two-level railway station. It is located on the site of the historic Lehrter Bahnhof, and until it opened as a main line station, it was a stop on the Berlin S-Bahn suburban railway temporarily named Berlin Hauptbahnhof – Lehrter Bahnhof.

this is the view I was lucky enough to have for a year. I had a really neato little flat the was the top back of a big old two story terrace in Enmore which is an inner city suburb of Sydney…. being upstairs I had to most wonderful view across the district across to the airport and there were some really amazing skys to be seen…. and photograph….. from there….. I loved it…... this shot is the morning sky above the row of little terrace houses behind me…....

this ancient analouge image is the Sydney skyline in 1982 from the WatchTower building that overlooks Redfern station. Now days it’s all multi million dollar apartments but it was a very different city back then. The graffitti is actually the name of a punk band that was squatting in the building at the time. But the image could also be read as a comment and observation on some of the goings on around here in bubbleland. Or maybe I just posted it because Muscular Teeth tells me he likes my apocalyptic images….... the interpretation is open….....

another photo of the city of Sydney taken from the roof top of what was then a punk squat. now it’s very very expensive apartments overlooking Redfern station. the graffitti was the extremely succinct name of the punk band that was in possession of the building at the time….... and it’s still a comment about other things as well….. it’s just different version of Real Fucking Idiots

This old factory floor, now stripped of machines and starting to flood gives a lovely view out over the expanse of the building and a great reflection of the rafters is provided by the pools of water laying all about.

I love the color of this resort,,,looks good enought to eat,,,most buildings in Negril ,Jamaica are very colorful,,,,,,adds to the magic and fantasy of the islands. There was a storm threatening,,,,luckily most of it blew over and we didn’t have to excape the beach. panasonic dmc lz7 as is The Pink House challenge winner Sept 12/09,, in the group In the Pink :))
