The Beatles – All you need is love / Love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love. / There’s nothing you can do that can’t be done. / Nothing you can sing that can’t be sung. / Nothing you can say but you can learn how to play the game / It’s easy. / There’s nothing you can make that can’t be made. / No one you can save that can’t be saved. / Nothing you can do but you can learn how to be in time / It’s easy. / All you need is love, all you need is love, / All you need is love, love, love is all you need. / Love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love. / All you need is love, all you need is love, / All you need is love, love, love is all you need. / There’s nothing you can know that isn’t known. / Nothing you can see that isn’t shown. / Nowhere you can be that isn’t where you’re meant to be. / It’s easy. / All you need is love, all you need is love, / All you need is love, love, love is all you need. / All you need is love (all together now) / All you need is love (everybody) / All you need is love, love, love is all you need. / “Art Inspired by Song”

Marriage or wedlock is an interpersonal relationship with governmental, social, or religious recognition. It is often created as a contract or through civil processes. Civil marriage is the legal concept of marriage as a governmental institution. / The most common form of marriage unites one man and one woman as husband and wife. Other forms of marriage also exist: for example, polygamy in which a person takes more than one spouse is common in many societies. In some jurisdictions civil marriage has been expanded to include same-sex marriage. / People marry for many reasons, but usually one or more of the following: legal, social and economic stability; the formation of a family unit; procreation and the education and nurturing of children; legitimizing sexual relations; public declaration of love; or to obtain citizenship.

So here am I quite by chance near the phone / I could call and make you crawl into bed / Questions always questions / I’ll just speak in slow motion, / About obsessions with boys on the floor. Take that smile off your face, / Wipe that tear from your eye, / Don’t say you’re sorry for me. Now look at me like a stormtrooper in drag / And I’ll let you feel exactly like I do, / It’s so disgusting I’m so tired of rhythm / And needles in arms, / I don’t want your point of view. Nothing to do, / Nothing to steal, / And there’s nothing to say. Love it love it I need to.

‘Pretty Melbourne Boys are Aloof’ they won’t let you borrow their comb or stare them in the eye….this is why….they wear dandy, shiny pointy shoes for you to shoe-gaze and lust over your hopeless new romantic boy…..perhaps their discomfort stems from the tight cut of their Jean?

“Don’t You Want Me” by the Human League is a conflicting male/female duet with the subject of jealousy and sexual obsession as the main theme. Its pop style has often led to a misinterpretion that it is a love song. The male part of the song is a svengali figure who turns a female waitress into a ‘star’, who then subsequently leaves him once she has obtained fame. Released in the UK on 5 December 1981 it went almost immediately to number one and remained in the UK charts for 13 weeks, and was Christmas number of that year. The single went on to sell 1.4 million copies in the UK and is the 25th most successful UK single of all time.
